Squarespace x Geronimo Balloons for NYC Pride

As a proud sponsor of Pride, Squarespace is excited to share that we have partnered with customer Geronimo Balloons to create a beautiful balloon rainbow structure at our New York City Headquarters. The installation offers a visually engaging and emotional experience for NYC Pride marchers as we celebrate equality among the LGBTQ community.

Geronimo Balloons founder Jihan Zencirli used more than 15,000 balloons (ranging in size from eight inches to eight feet!) to adorn the entrance of our NYC HQ at 8 Clarkson Street. The balloons are made out of an organic, biodegradable material and are 100% recyclable.

This is the largest outdoor structure of its size and scale that Jihan and her team have created in New York, and we’re thrilled to showcase their art during this important occasion. The installation will continue to grow and take shape over the days leading up to Sunday’s march. Each visitor to New York’s West Village will have a unique experience as the balloon structure evolves.

Squarespace has expanded our participation in Pride across all three of our offices this year, and we will continue our commitment to Diversity & Inclusion through many events and partnerships to come.

Starting today, please stop by 8 Clarkson Street for selfies, portraits, and a community celebration. We will be keeping the balloons up until Monday, June 26th at 6pm. If you take photos or videos, we encourage you to use the hashtag #squarespace and tag @Squarespace so others can share in the experience.
